July 2012

This last July was quite eventful.  After getting back from our trip to Utah we headed down to the Lakehouse in Chandler Texas for our annual Poyfair reunion.  Before doing that though, some of us were able to go to the temple together as a family.  This was the first time that I was able to attend the temple with several of my family members.  It was a very special experience for me and I don't think I'll ever forget it.  I am so grateful for a loving family.  I only wish that everyone could have had the means to join us on that special day.  The covenants we make in the temple bring us closer to our Father in Heaven and allow us to be together as a family eternally.  I am still to this days striving to attain a full appreciation and knowledge of the blessings I have received from the temple ordinances and covenants I have made.

Don't look too excited people.

Doug...... (I don't know what, "Doug" is supposed to mean.  I'll have to ask Janet about that one).

Dad giving us a little history lesson with the famous "quarter trivia" game that followed.

I'm guessing they're playing some super hero type of game.  Garrett is so good to indulge the little ones.

Singing happy birthday to......Ruthie (I think).
